About the Role
We’re seeking a skilled Data Scientist to analyze complex datasets, develop machine learning models, and deliver actionable business insights. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to deploy scalable, high-impact analytics solutions in an on-site capacity.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean, preprocess, and analyze large datasets to identify patterns and trends.
- Develop, validate, and deploy machine learning models—regression, classification, clustering, forecasting.
- Design and maintain scalable data pipelines for ETL and model training.
- Evaluate model performance and optimize algorithms for accuracy and scalability.
- Build dashboards and visualizations to present insights to stakeholders using tools like Tableau or Power BI.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate models into production systems and workflows.
- Document methodologies, workflows, and best practices; ensure reproducibility.
- Stay current with AI/ML advancements and recommend new techniques/tools.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field.
- 5–8+ years of experience developing ML models and data-driven solutions.
- Proficiency in Python (with libraries such as Pandas, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch) and SQL.
- Experience with big data frameworks like Hadoop or Spark.
- Strong statistical modeling skills—time-series, A/B testing, hypothesis testing.
- Skilled in data visualization and presenting technical information to non-technical audiences.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree (master’s or PhD) in a quantitative field.
- Experience in forecasting or demand modeling (e.g., in retail/commerce).
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Familiarity with deploying models into production and building CI/CD pipelines
- Competency in using REST APIs for ML model serving.
