Job Overview
Seeking a compassionate and clinically proficient Physician Assistant to join our [primary care / surgical / specialty] team. You’ll work alongside licensed physicians to conduct patient assessments, manage treatment plans, and deliver high-quality care across outpatient, inpatient, and telehealth environments
Key Responsibilities
- Perform patient history intake, physical exams, and diagnostic assessments
- Order and interpret labs, imaging studies, and diagnostic tests
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions under physician supervision
- Prescribe medications, administer injections, and perform common procedures (e.g., sutures, immunizations)
- Assist in patient education, preventive care, and lifestyle counseling
- Participate in pre- and post-operative care (if applicable)
- Document all patient interactions accurately in the EHR and maintain confidentiality
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive care
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Current state PA licensure and NCCPA certification
- BLS; ACLS preferred
- 8+ years of clinical PA experience (primary care, specialty clinic, or hospital)
- Proficiency with EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner, Allscripts)
- Strong communication, diagnostic, and procedural skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in [specific specialty: pediatrics, cardiology, emergency medicine, etc.]
- Telehealth/practice-remote care experience
- Bilingual abilities (e.g., English/Spanish)
